     Saturday, November 11, 1922, 5:50 P.M. Officers responded to McKeever’s Store, 13th Street and 6th Avenue for a reported robbery.   A witness stated the suspect, identified as Henry Tucker, fled the building armed with a hand gun.  The suspect is reported to have fled to the city of Troy.

     Wednesday, November 13, 1922 3:30 P.M.  Chief Corbett, Captain Broderick and Officer Connors responded to the city of Troy in search of Henry Tucker.

     Wednesday, November 13, 1922 5:00 P.M. Watervliet Police Department was notified by Troy Police that an altercation had taken place between Chief Corbett and Henry Tucker on River Street, between Ferry Street and Congress Street.  During the altercation Henry Tucker fired four rounds at Chief Corbett striking him once in the abdomen; Chief Corbett returned fire striking Henry Tucker twice in the head.
